So I did.
Yet, every once in a while, when thoughts of you intrude upon me, I send little emotional signals through this imaginary emotional bond that we've always somehow shared, with the knowledge that it only ever existed in my own mind, and knowing full well that you won't, can't answer.
It's a way for me to be spiteful, to lash out at you with tenderness and an "I miss you" or "I love you" without actually reaching you, without bugging you or hurting you or me or anyone else.

Casual EncountersFor a moment we met, united, frustrated by a lack of coffee. The convenience store is always there, always has fresh coffee, and a variety at that. But the one girl who usually is there with a "Good Morning" was taking a day off... and no one else was filling the void... There were empty pots or decaf here and there...
